The artworks of the Jellybelly series are offered in two limited editions: 10 pieces of each motiv. Jellyfishes are one of the most fascinating species in the oceans and they have a certain aesthetics the artist wanted to capture. The pictures were shot in a big aquarium where the artist had permission to work and shoot during the night in complete darkness. Only some artificial lights inside the aquarium and from the outside were just to give the jellyfish some subtle glow.

Unique Properties
Fine Art photography. The artworks of this series are offered in two limited editions: 10 pieces of each motiv in 50 by 50 cm and 5 pieces in 80 by 80 cm. They are printed on Hahnemühle fine art paper and mounted on aluminium with a black wooden frame and a shadow-gap of 2 cm.

Production Technology
The pictures were shot in a big aquarium where the artist had the permisson to work and shoot during the night in complete darkness. Only some artificial lights inside the aquarium and from the outside were just to give the jellifishes some subtile glow.
Inspiration
Jellyfishes are one of the most fascinating species in the oceans.There are jellyfish whose aging process is virtually non-existent, theoretically, if they are not eaten, they could live forever. Jellyfish move very elegantly, are important for the entire marine ecosystem and are an indicator of water quality. And they have a certain aesthetics.
