Luna, a lightweight electric scooter specially designed for young groups, features a retro and stylish exterior modeled after the two wheeled motorcycles popular in Europe during the middle of the 20th century. Functionally enhanced with a rare earth magneto known for strong power and high energy conversion efficiency, Luna offers an upgraded alternative for city commuting and short travel.
an electric scooter, retro fashion, lightweight, rounded edges and corners, a rare earth strong magneto
Luna has its edges and corners rounded for an amiable feeling, and is equipped with a round headlight. These features, derived from the archetype of two wheeled motorcycles prevalent in Europe during the middle of the 20th century, are further complemented by an appropriate curve design, making the whole body look elegant, coherent, and fluid. Furthermore, the colorway of light blue and bright reveals a cross of retro and modern fashion, which caters to the aesthetic preferences of young groups.
In terms of exterior design, it stands at the juxtaposition of retro and modern aesthetics, taking a strong departure from the essentially identical electric scooters on the market. For improved functionality, it is equipped with a rare earth strong magneto independently developed by Lv Ju, which is efficient in power conversion, lightweight and flexible in speed control, and further meets the needs of young groups for strong power.
The design and development of Luna started in Taizhou, Zhejiang, in May, 2022. It was introduced to the Chinese market in December, 2022.
Instead of requiring a physical key in each ride, Luna can be unlocked and started via a digital key that supports both Bluetooth and NFC. Moreover, its responsive disc brake system can help the user stop on a dime very stably and within a short braking distance, thereby making each ride much safer and more comfortable.
Through the thorough market research, the design team found that the electric scooters on the current market are often styled in a bold and ultramodern way, and remain weak in power. The status quo in the electric scooter sector fails to catch up with the growing popularity of retro fashion and the increasing demands for strong power and high performance. Consumers are thus turning to an electric scooter design that lets retro fashion meet functionality.
Inspired by the classic model of two wheeled motorcycles prevalent in Europe during the middle of the 20th century, the design team restored its details to the utmost to set a retro tone, and further took into account the aesthetic orientations of modern young groups. The result is Luna, an electric scooter redefining what is retro fashion.
