Production Technology
Clickat mainly uses multi-layer boards and comfortable and wear-resistant flocked fabrics, which not only ensures the cat's comfort but also facilitates cleaning by the owner. The Clickat structure makes the assembly and disassembly of the product very simple. It reduces the installation time by 50% compared to ordinary products. The cushions, knitted fabrics, and grab posts are all replaceable structures. If they are dirty or broken, they can be disassembled for cleaning or replacement.
Design Challenge
The research challenge lies in understanding and meeting the complex needs of cats while also meeting the expectations of their owners. In addition, how to reduce people's installation difficulties and how to design products that are both beautiful and practical are also challenges we face. Our Clickat series adopts a revolutionary mortise and tenon structure, which eliminates the need for screw connections. Compared with ordinary products, Clickat's installation time is reduced by 50%.
Project Duration
The project will start in Shenzhen in July 2021 and be completed in Shenzhen in June 2023.
Operation Flow
We cater to cats' instinctive needs such as climbing, exploring, sharpening claws, resting and eating to provide the best experience. For owners, we provide convenient use and maintenance methods. The Clickat connection method makes the assembly and disassembly of the product simple; the replaceable materials and structures make the maintenance of the product simple; the modular design allows The owner is free to combine products according to his own needs and space conditions.
Research
After long-term research, we found that installation difficulties, quality, space occupation, and the inability to clean and replace accessories have become the main pain points for users and other cat products. Based on the above issues, we are committed to creating a cat ecosystem - each module can be used independently, They can also be connected to each other in any combination; minimalist installation; replacement of wearing parts and stability and durability.
Inspiration
The design of the Clickat series of cat furniture is inspired by the observation of cat behavior, the understanding of home structures, and the pursuit of a harmonious living space. In addition to meeting the cat's basic instinctive needs of climbing, exploring, and sharpening claws, we also consider the design of user DIY, easy assembly, unlimited expansion, and integration with the home environment.
Project Overview
