This case is a whole house customization that fits the preferences of the nouveau elite demographic. It aims to provide an elegant, comfortable lifestyle with socialization properties. The design team has incorporated Italian understated luxury style, utilizing diverse materials in beige, light green, and brown hues to create a graceful, fresh space. The interior includes dynamic cabinet forms that create new social spaces and a multifunctional layout, enhancing practicality and convenience.

Production Technology
The harmonization of materials, including wood, metal, and glass, has been accomplished in this product. Regarding craftsmanship, the blister moulding process endows it with durability and more design choices, while the 3D embossing process adds an imitation leather texture that gives the product a luxurious feel and a soft touch. The wine rack in the high cabinet is paired with the luminous backboard, interpreting light and shadow and presenting a dynamic visual effect.
Design Challenge
The challenge was creating a home design solution that caters to the living preferences of the nouveau elite demographic. The team has learned the living scenario of users and provides a fully customized experience that amalgamates the kitchen, bedroom, cloakroom, door and wall, and home appliances. The Italian understated luxury style accentuates its distinctiveness, coupled with cabinets and multifunctional areas, creating a refined, tasteful, and comfortable home space.
Project Duration
The project was initiated in March 2023 in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, and was completed in October of the same year. It was officially listed in December in Guangzhou.
Operation Flow
This project aims to cater to the living scenario of the nouveau elite demographic by creating an external interactive scene that combines functionality, leisure, and social interaction. The kitchen design incorporates a splitlevel design, producing a unique visual effect and providing a more dynamic and pleasant cooking experience. On the other hand, the living room emphasizes wine storage and display functions while reducing the space for TV to enhance the sense of quality and interaction.
Research
The design team believes that the importance of whole house customization is in its ability to break down the barriers of space, blur the boundaries of spatial distance, and transform space into a warm home that embodies aesthetics, emotions, and social interactions. This case is based on the requirements of the nouveau elite demographic, who are practitioners of quality life and aspire to build a quality living space that reflects their individuality and satisfies their vision of life.
Inspiration
The architectural preferences of the ancient Romans inspired the design by the employment of curved structures. This influence is evident in the rounded edges and corners of the living room and kitchen cabinets. The Roman column elements, symbolizing stability and dignity, add to the dynamic yet elegant ambience. Similarly, the trend of Italian design has introduced a new leather pattern for wardrobes, featuring a soft touch, quality texture, and fresh, vibrant colours.
Project Overview
Patti Custom Cabinet has been a Bronze winner in the Furniture Design award category in the year 2023 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality. It recognizes the dedication and skill of designers who produce work that stands out for its thoughtful development and innovative use of materials and technology. These designs are acknowledged for their professional execution and potential to influence industry standards positively. Winning this award highlights the designer's ability to blend form and function effectively, offering solutions that enhance people's lives and wellbeing.
