As the Lunar New Year approaches while most embrace a visible dragon design, the team aim to create a memorable dragon experience that elevates visitors' imagination and memory of the hidden dragon. By partnering with Penique Productions for Taikoo Hui Mall’s CNY, it integrated artistic techniques and mediums to make the dragon elusive with red recyclable film to craft a glass box, this reimagined space offers a sense of elusive presence that enhances the visitor's immersion into the concept of the dragon, aiming to bring new year blessings them in the newly redefined space of the mall.

Unique Properties
All around the world, Chinese communities are creating visible dragons, but the uniqueness of 'See the Unseen' lies in concealing the dragon. It is presented on the L3 floor of the mall in transparent glass boxes. Crafted in collaboration with artists using semi-transparent recyclable materials, these red boxes not only capture the imagination but also prompt viewers to contemplate the unseen wonders of the world. Additionally, the red inflatable space is to be seen as the main visual that brings blessings for this dragon new year.

Inspiration
"See the Unseen" portrays the dragon as an originally invisible entity. Reflecting this mysterious concept, the exhibition area features dragons presented within semi-transparent glass boxes made from recyclable plastic materials, creating an elusive sensation. Constructed by the collaborative artist team Penique Productions using red recyclable coloured film, these glass boxes allow viewers to immerse themselves in the presence of the dragon. Enhanced with lighting either during the night or day, this design not only alters the space in terms of texture, light, atmosphere, and drama but also deepens the contemplation and perception of the dragon as a mystical creature.
Project Overview
See The Unseen Immersive Ephemeral Art Exhibition has been a Silver winner in the Fine Arts and Art Installation Design award category in the year 2023 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition.
