The design is positioned through the context of the building and the city. With the physical construction and the extension of nodes, a unique and rich living experience is superimposed from the sights of wandering around the city over the cumulation of time and seasons. Extending from the conception of lines and surfaces, rich perspectives between levels are created; then, the attitude of life is rendered through the characteristics of materials to purely express the true emotions of space.
versatile functions, light and shadow layers, humanization, rich living experience
Based on the concepts of sunlight, air, and water, the overlapping and fusion of multiple materials such as wood grain, leather, cloth, and glass connect the visual rhythm of each area. Regardless of light and shadow, voice between layers, and overall cyclic planning, time serves as the best endorsement of space.
The design of light and shadow layers eliminates the pressure of the structural beam above the TV cabinet. The three-dimensional lines of the open shelves are rendered through the curved surface to create the smooth rhythm and highlight the liveliness. The main wall of the living room is equipped with a shelving unit to provide a multi-functional storage and display space. The hidden door panels, TV wall, and stereo combination are integrated to conceal the convenience of life in the aesthetics of surface modeling.
The project started in March 2018 and finished in September 2018 in Taiwan.
The design of the architectural mass and facade eliminates complicated and unnecessary colors and lines, but highlights the internal logical relationship and injects the energy of different types of light into the tangible building body. The creation and design of each line and facade work in coordination with each other to construct a harmonious whole and allow nature to integrate into life. The combination of different materials, the variations of high and low levels, the openness of the space, and the extension of lines and surfaces shape the concept of "humanization" in a natural manner.
The layout of light and shadow creates the overlapping scenes, effectively establishing a powerful, balanced aesthetics in the space. Asymmetry determines the proportion of space, and the "window" becomes a dialog box to connect the indoor and outdoor scenery. From the line and surface of proportional division, harmonious rhythms are created and the established imagination of the neat spatial pattern is liberated, feeling the intimacy and respectful attitude between space and emotions and undefended imagination
By providing a quiet corner to the attitude of life, it will be brewed and fermented, and then become the most elegant and intriguing book pages, which can be flipped through at any time and open to imagination. They will turn into brilliant literary revealing slowly the absolute power of tolerance given by the space.
