Thanks to the filter sensor in Vesta, the indicator light starts to flash red when the tank or the motor protection filter is full. Production Technology
Vesta is a member of Pika vacuum cleaner series sharing lots of common parts. All parts of the vacuum cleaner are designed so that they can be assembled quickly with a minimum error rate. As a result of those economical designs, the cost of the production has decreased. All the plastics are recyclable.
Design Challenge
Vesta is a member of Pika vacuum cleaner series which had a great success in Turkish market selling more than 350.000 products since 2017. Vesta shared %90 parts with other existing Pika product series. Having to use 140 of 151 existing parts yet creating a totally different look was challenging. The infrastructure remained same as other Pika Vacuums , only designed 11 outer parts creating a totally different design language and concept.
Project Duration
Vesta is designed in November 2017 and will be launched in Turkish and European Markets in third quarter of 2019.
Operation Flow
Having its patented cyclonic filter helps to keep the dust in the tank in an efficient way , the indicator light starts to flash red when the tank or the motor protection filter is full, patented 3 in 1 bucket lock allows the user to lock and unlock the tank with one hand and guarantees safe carrying , the user can reach and clean anywhere in the bucket shaped tank.
Research
After the researches in R&D department and building more than hundred of prototypes, patented cyclonic max system has been designed. The cyclonic max system shows at least %10 better mono cyclone dust separation performance compared to competitors according to laboratory tests.
Inspiration
In consideration of the discomfort of customary cyclonic cleaners, Vesta is designed so that the user can use and clean without having to do so many complicated operating and maintaining tasks.Thanks to patented 3in1 bucket lock mechanism, the user can not take out neither the bucket nor the cover when Vesta is being hold in the upright position guaranteeing safe carry. When it is on the horizontal position the user can take out the bucket with one hand and open the cover with one finger.
