The V3 Series TV is provided with a lifting function, which is inspired by the rising sun. With built-in 3D facial recognition, the stereo system and the other features, the V3 Series TV is a home assistant. All devices were connected, creating a whole eco-system at home. The team solved a bunch of challenges so that all functions of V3 Series TV can be fully performed.

Production Technology
On CMF design, the back-panel glass is made use of magnetic-ink technology, forming up the gradient shape of water wave. Furthermore, The combination of soft home fabric and the industrial metal texture, presenting the V3 Series TV aesthetics of nature and technology.
Design Challenge
The V3 Series TV has lifting mechanism, built-in full range speakers and 3D camera. At the same time as bringing a high-grade experience, we must guarantee the mechanical system operating stability on the product. Therefore, we adjust the design repeatedly to make the functions of the V3 Series TV achieved fully.
Project Duration
The project started in July 2019 in Shenzhen and finished in February 2020 in Shenzhen.
Operation Flow
The voice control system of the V3 Series TV, realizing the big screen lifting function. Made use of the secondary screen, upgrading the interaction and the whole house smart control system. Building 3D liftable camera into the TV . Multi interaction experience meets all different users’ needs. At the same time, the 5.1 channel sound system is newly used, acoustic adjusted by the industry professionals, bringing the ultimate audio and video experience.
Research
The V3 Series TV , with OLED quality and professional sound system. Meet the market's high requirements for image and sound quality. With the advent of 5G era, the V3 Series TV is no longer a singular display device. Through the lifting function, equipped with intelligent hardwares such as a 3D facial recognition camera, a smart-eco touch screen, and a stereo system.The V3 Series TV has become a home assistance, connecting smart devices throughout the house to create a smart home.
Inspiration
The form factor of the V3 Series TV is from the rising sun. When it turned on, the screen will rise gently, and the smart sound-bar reveals. The smart sound-bar is equipped with front sounding system,touch secondary screen and far-field microphone and other smart hardwares. The concept is just like the rising sun, ready to bring the brand-new power.
Project Overview
Konka V3 Oled TV has been a Silver winner in the Digital and Electronic Device Design award category in the year 2019 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Silver A' Design Award celebrates top-tier designs that embody excellence and innovation. This award acknowledges creations that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional, reflecting the designer's deep understanding and skill. Silver A' Design Award recipients are recognized for their contribution to raising industry standards and advancing the practice of design.
