Unique Properties
The special art papers we use are in mottled textures as old walls in history center of the town. The graphics are created from icons of “ the montain”, “ the lake”, “ the hall”, then blended them in a landscape painting. As a mackating goals，we use graphic design mix with contemporary style and traditional chinese icons, to protect local culture and also catches eyes of young customers.

Production Technology
We use special art paper with hot stamping technology to express the characteristics of Biluochun tea. The natural texture of the paper reflects the natural flavor of Biluochun tea.
Design Challenge
Throughout the design process of the package, we have been pursuing a natural design, pursuing packaging that best reflects the characteristics of Biluochun tea. Gorgeous illustrations were not used in the entire design, instead simple lines were used to outline the geographical location and tea-producing environment of the Meaninghall brand.
Project Duration
The project started in April 2019 in Suzhou, China and finished in December 2019.
Operation Flow
This package uses artistic paper with excellent feel and hot stamping technology, which directly expresses the characteristics of Biluochun tea: nature and fragrance.
Research
Throughout the packaging design, we have always emphasized that nature is the essence of the product. Don't use too many design techniques or gorgeous illustration methods, only use the simplest design language to show the attributes of the product.
Inspiration
The Meaninghall is a local brand which is focus on selling agricultural products in high quality. It’s based in a small town of Suzhou which is called Luxiang. With a centuries-old history, and great natural environment, it has a famous green tea which is in the top list of Chinese tea- Biluochun. It’s also rich of typical fruits which belong to South of Yangzi river. The town is far away from city and in the side of the east of Tai lake, the biological products need a way for promotion. So we hope use graphics and the special materials to create a brand with emotion of traditional cultures. It will deliver a lifestyle to someone of naturalism and who are high quality life hunters.
