The chamber is vaguely visible through the metal screen at the gateway, which unfolds the oriental features. On the first floor, the living room has a two-storey ceiling, and a large French window that brings in natural light and a garden view. The well-chosen blossoms fill the room with great vitality. The dining room and kitchens are placed on the left. The kitchens, in Chinese and western styles, meet diversified dietary needs of the family.
The metal stair railing runs through the space, elaborately handled in experiments and model studies. The marble, copper, silver foil and gold foil materials are rubbed to look old, into mild textures, feeling natural like human skins.
The project was finished in December 2017 in Beijing, China.
In functional zoning, the design takes into account the owner's rest and office functions. It separates the house into the main bedroom, cloakroom, living room and study. It leaves characteristic space for the children, and the boy's room keeps a private reading corner.
In this case, the green ecosystem and intelligent energy saving technologies are used for the whole house customization, retaining the original building structure and minimizing the waste of materials. Meanwhile, the application of environmental-friendly materials reduces environmental pollution.
The space, inside out, is permeated with the beauty of the Orient, showing the unique spiritual intension of "restraining" and "inclusiveness". "Know the people by the colors." The rich azure blue and mild warm gray bring the owner spiritual sublimation and satisfaction. It is the return of the heart as thousands of sails fade away.
