Cufflinks are made of white gold and precious stones, with the stamp of the authentic ornament, the turtle, represents a special meaning and legacy, human values and principles, the whole beauty of human being, positive energy, joy and happiness, unity and syllable of the family guardians.The roots presents the field of the world, and the symbols, the symbols are people frosted all over the world, reunited and recognized to each other by shearing the same ideology. Cufflinks were made to connect centuries of people’s tradition into simply shaped modern design, a spirit’s identity, and it’s values by creating timeless jewelry collection. As such , by using good medium of the energy that will live forever,the gold.

Production Technology

Cufflins creation began in the mind, and afterwords it became sketched by pencil of the very basic plain paper, and after throw technical drawings by Matrix it was 3 D modeled, printed, modeled and cast in 14 karat white gold. Some pieces were made from parts and cast separately, then assembled, and after enfolded the 3 x 3 mm princess cut Sapphire. Each piece was treated with different surface finishing: some were polished, some were sand blast treated, and some were covered with decorative UV jeweler dye, and some were plated with black rhodium.

Design Challenge

The most demanding part nowadays is to be original, but yet simple and with deep influence . The humans witness to modernization and globalization of the world, and sometimes they forget to respect true values and their own identities. Fortunately, they are getting aware of this and they patiently and successively came back to its values and cherish what they inherited from their ancestors. This is a global trend and it has believes that they should all keep up with the world, but also not forget who they are.

Project Duration

The idea of creating this project ,was born in 2016. hearing of ”not just a label”. Later on it finds the way to become prestige, luxurious peace of jewelry, being original but yet staying memorable. The realization took time by making a lot of research about the ornaments in order to pick the symbols that send the right message, and it ended in February 2020. The collection was created in , Nis, Serbia. First time presented live in Magioni Fine Jewellery, Belgrade 07.03.2020.

Operation Flow

The cufflinks are unisex jewelry that contains traditional ornaments, yet packed in a modern design by using the very simply shapes of the square, which is suitable for everyday wearing, as well as all kinds of social events. And yet to reconnect the people who ware it with the very first light of life, the roots.

Research

By researching the luxury jewelry market, there is a big gap of meaning and jewelry talking. It is not just about the precious metal and precious stones, it has to be packed with the story-telling, and than it would became jewelry attention worth for. That is why this collection contains the story telling that moves hearts and leave big emotional impact . By reaching the humans attention nowadays . And jet it is unisex, comfortable, durable, and simply shaped.

Inspiration

The inspiration for this project came from past century. To be exact from the women who waved carpets on Balkans region. Every ornament that those women invented had a special meaning, the carpets has a whole story to tell to future generations. By modernized these ornament we have the connection with our ancestors. These cufflinks will protect and keep safe the owner from the invisible negative forces. And shows the identity of the person who wears it, as well as the respect of the roots of the nation. The powerful story telling is packed into minimalist cufflinks.
