The various shades by different gemstones, from almost white to a more intense pink, represent the shades of your flowers. The cluster of blooming flowers are represented with different cutstones. Made with 18k gold, pink diamonds, morganites, pink sapphires and pink tourmalines. Polished and textured finish. Extremely light and with perfect fit. Production Technology
Earrings in gold 18K with pink turmalines 11,08CT, pink sapphires 4,22CT, morganites 1,00CT and pink diamonds 0,76CT. Matte and polished finish. Textured finish. Cartier-type chains.
Design Challenge
During the search for the idealized materials, some types of gemstones were not located and some cut formats were unavailable. The acquisition of gemstones in other formats and types was carried out and a new design was performed adapting to the materials found. Another challenge was to find stones with the right weight in order to make an earring with 25 gemstons extremely light.
Project Duration
The project started in september 2019 in Brasilia, Brazil, and finished in January 2020 in Brasilia, Brazil.

Research
After extensive research on van Gogh's paintings (there are almost 2000 works), the painting was chosen that would be the inspiration for the design. Then research was carried out on the painted tree (understanding of what the painter saw to be inspired). Realized the ideal design of the piece and choice of the ideal materials for execution.
Inspiration
The jewels in this collection were inspired by the works of artist Vincent Van Gogh. The earrings presented were inspired by the "Almond tree in blossom" canvas. The branches are represented by the currents and the different shapes and the gradient in the shades of pink represent the flowers in different phases. Just as a tree has its branches moving with the wind, the earring has balance and delicacy.
