Earrings for Zomorrodi Jewelry Gallery
The design of the Ruby Pixels comes from the 80s video games and neon red lights in urban advertising, as well as inspiration from the mosaic arrangement of Islamic patterns in this design that is visible. The main challenge was to meet the market demand for jewelry in various forms of protective symbols, transforming the natural shapes to the organic ring with the same emotion, joining performance and aesthetics beside emotional connection between the earring and the user.

The unique features of this earring is the originality of its design and two separate parts of it, the first part lying on the surface of the earlobe and flush with the ergonomic lines of the ear, and the lower part is a ruby piece with a teardrop cut. The suspended face hangs from the ear.

The upper part includes princess cut diamonds and rubies. The lower part includes tear-shaped ruby. The base material is 18K gold.
The contrast of combining an unconventional and modern design of the earrings at the top with the classic design (teardrop-like hanging at the bottom) and creating a work with high visual dynamics has been the main challenge in this design.
The project has been designed and produced in Tehran, Iran in 2020.
It visually remembers the start of the spring with an asymmetrically combination of white and pink blossoms. The asymmetrical and random variety of colors create excitement in a modern atmosphere that calms by leading to a big tear at the end of the earring.
How the asymmetrical color arrangement of red and white jewelry on the upper part and also the difference in height of these stones and the use of common claws to mount them, ergonomic placement of the upper part of the ear and hanging tears-shaped stone at the bottom, all with many Prototypes and multiple trials were obtained.
The design of this earring is inspired by the turning on and off of light pixels on screens such as 80s video games (like Atari) on a black background or even neon red lights in urban advertising, as well as inspiration from the mosaic arrangement of Islamic patterns in this design that is visible.
