Production Technology
Dreamland study table is made of birch with high cost performance. It uses Akzonobel's formaldehyde-free water-based paint for surface treatment and is equipped with the Italian cefla automatic spraying process. The desk has made large rounded corners and has been chamfered around so that children can be protected as much as possible. The table legs are sprayed with Austrian tiger powder. The texture is delicate, not easy to fade, and durable.
Project Duration
This project started in August 2016, and finished in July 2018 in Hangzhou.
Operation Flow
The dreamland study table combines ergonomics and powerful storage functions to meet the diverse needs of students around school age and adults, and help children develop good habits. The dreamland study table is equipped with a desk-top lift function. The height adjustment range is 52-76 cm, which is in line with the human-machine relationship during the child's growth. The desktop can be adjusted from 0 to 37 degrees to achieve different usages such as writing, drawing, and reading, which effectively reduces children's height mismatch between tables and chairs, resulting in incorrect sitting posture and the occurrence of irreversible health problems such as scoliosis and myopia.
Inspiration
The overall design of the dreamland study table exerted unlimited imagination. It broke through the fixed impression of the study table in the market both in function and appearance, with a large number of plastic parts, aluminum profiles rich styling capabilities, the unique shape of the study table, the overall shape is like a castle, and like a time machine, giving children unlimited imagination, just as its name dreamland study table.
Project Overview
Dreamland Ergonomics Study Desk has been a Silver winner in the Furniture Design award category in the year 2020 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Silver A' Design Award celebrates top-tier designs that embody excellence and innovation. This award acknowledges creations that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional, reflecting the designer's deep understanding and skill.
