Residential Apartment for Dreamer Interior Design
The British molding technique is further extended from the back wall of the sofa to the ceiling to elevate the visual skyline and create the lofty and grand look. On the ceiling, the large molds are combined with the titanium plates in fading colors to sketch the vintage style, support the delicately carved ceiling style; the screen with the laser carved pattern that can be pulled at wall is used to define the living room and the dining room.

nterior, Design, Residence, Neoclassical style
To avoid the Feng Shui problem, the public field is separated by a carved screen. At the same time, the exquisite laser carved pattern and the British molding design respond to the elegant neo classical charm. The bedroom space is specially designed to avoid facing the mirror. In the TV wall design of the master bedroom and parent room, the sliding and folding door is added to avoid the reflection from the TV screen, solving the Feng Shui taboo and meeting the need in life. The fine titanium plating with the golden effect of the fading and matte texture is included in the British classic design lexicons. Both the sun mirror on the wall and the coffee table reflect the meaning of perfection, looking low profile and reserved and making the vintage and modern styles coexist. The style cabinet of the electric appliances in the dining room is separated with the marble in the middle to make the two-level storage and inherit the life style with the British texture.
How to present the British local life feeling and integrate the oriental Feng Shui with the British classical style at the same time is the challenge of the project.
There are no standardized partition walls. Instead, the movable screen with the carved pattern between the living room and the dining room creates the interaction between the fields. The movement of the family members in the dining room can be noticed in the living room. The dining table is extended to accommodate six people and meet the needs for more family members or visiting relatives and friends. When the island and dining table are moved, the square flow in the space will turn into a T shape. The circular flow arrangement vitalizes the traces in daily life.
To combine Feng Shui and the aesthetic design, the living room and dining room are separated with a carved screen to avoid the problem of seeing the kitchen upon opening the door. In the bedroom space, we pay special attention to avoiding facing the mirror by adding the sliding and folding door on the outer side of the TV wall. The overall design is displayed with the British molds and workmanship to present the elegant style. The titanium plating of the fading and matte texture is applied to show the golden tone without the extravagant luxurious feeling and make the vintage and modern styles coexist.
The older it is, the more style it has. This is the reason why the owner loves the British style. The designer feels that the owner’s family is full of respect and love. The owner’s gentleman-like temperament and lover for the family are expressed through the elegant neo-classical British style and his careful demands for Feng Shui. The details in the space and meticulous techniques are arranged to create the British townhouse.
