Within an area of 9m2, the project subverted the conventional definition of beauty, innovatively integrated tea with cosmetics, thereby transforming a former steamed dumpling shop into are tailing and exhibition pop-up shop for Cosmetea. Basing on the dimensions of spatial design and brand planning, the designers conceived immersive spatial scenes and experiences, explored the relationship between nature and the artificial realm, and pointed a path for the brand's creative, sustainable evolution.

The entire tunnel is clad in mirrored stainless steel and highlighted by LED strip lights. Shelves are orderly inserted into bespoke slots by drawing on the concept of mortise and tenon joints. The wall cabinet that serves display and storage functions is finished with red paint, which echoes the brand's visual identity. The narrow circular tunnel is like a "wormhole" across time and space, enabling people to temporarily escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
How to subverted the conventional definition of beauty, innovatively integrated tea with cosmetics is the challange for this project.
Location: Shanghai, China Completion time: the end of 2019
The designers drew inspiration from the brand's logo, which outlines a tea pitcher. Based on the brand logo's pendulum-like form and symbolic meaning, the design team carved out a dramatic opening on the facade, and extended it to the 9m2 tunnel space, thereby creating an infinite realm within the limited site area.
