The outer shell of Hyena adopts the magnesium alloy material of low casting defect rate and light weight in practical application, which is a forward-looking consideration. The magnesium alloy is known as the “green material” with rich development and application potential of the century, which is extremely environment friendly and can be pollution-free and full recovered. At present, the government put forward the requirements of reducing the weight of the transportation industry, in addition to that, the vehicles with light weight have become a development trend.
With the development of 5G technology, if Hyena can still be connected to the internet in the extreme environment, a more scientific prompt can be provided. For instance, when it is closer to the destination, “alert” can pop out, intermittent “in danger” warning can be sent out while the motorcycle overturns abnormally, the other person can be contacted and upload the last position to the head office.
The project started in Beijing in 2019;The project has been tested at key laboratory of environmental change and natural disaster,MOE,BNU in 2020;Complete the project in early 2021
It can sound three kinds of warning tone, representing “in danger”, “appreciation” and “alert” respectively. These warning tones can conduct efficient yet simple communication and information transfer during the operation for the operators. Compared with the verbal communication or text prompt on digital screen, such method can make the communication faster and clearer in the high-risk situation. At the same time, in addition to warning the present situation of other drivers in the team, this efficient communication mode also transmits the location information and content (one of the three types of “in danger”, “appreciation” or “alert”) of each warning sound issued by the driver via pushing and pulling motorcycle knob quickly and without operation to the command headquarters of this mission through the positioning system and transmitting equipment inside the motorcycle, which is convenient for the upper-level personnel of the task to dispatch quickly.
The foresight of Hyena Motorcycle is reflected in the thinking of the Internet of Things, the more efficient way of communication among different drivers in extreme environments, and the matching of structure and specific functions. The above three details can be found everywhere on Hyena Motorcycle. For example, the parallelogram shell made of magnesium alloy is not only consistent with the tone of Brutalism design style of the motorcycle, but also has practical considerations of heat dissipation and preventing signals of transmitting equipment from being blocked by the magnesium alloy shell.
The detailed consideration of current design of the motorcycle for the extreme environment is insufficient, which makes it not suitable for the application accordingly, hence, a new concept shall be brought in.
