A private property overlooking paddy farms spread over 28,000 Sqft of land. The design intends to marry the inside and outside blurring the boundaries of a sheltered home. The highlights of the villa are the two terraces, the east terrace with a breakfast setup and the west terrace on second level with a more of a sundowner vibe.

Production Technology
The materials were sourced locally. The entire pavement for the villa was done in waste granite pieces.
Design Challenge
The challenge was to execute the pergola on first floor which was eventually supported by existing beam grid.
Project Duration
The project started in Feb 2017 and was completed by March 2019
Operation Flow
The design was made in Mumbai and all drawings sent to site to execute locally with regular interval site visits to check the progress.
Research
The site location was a major inspiration for carving out spaces into the built structure. The pergola seating on the recreational floor was carved to create a sundowner spot.
Inspiration
The wide views of setting sun over the paddy fields is the main inspiration to form the private deck on the entertainment floor with a perfect balance of indoor and outdoor spaces.
