Unique Properties
The products switch is designed as a floating magnetic ball to create a clear visual and tactile difference from other humidifiers. Unlike other humidifiers, designers pay more attention to consciousness rather than efficiency. While holding the magnetic ball to turn on the humidifier, it reminds the user to live in the present through wonderful body and visual effects.

Design Challenge
The challenge is how to place the magnetic levitation ball more accurately in the middle of the humidifier, without taking too long to place the magnetic levitation ball and the better integration of the magnetic levitation device and the humidifier to make the appearance more concise and clear.
Project Duration
The project was launched in Shenyang, Liaoning, China in June 2020, and completed in Shenyang, Liaoning, China in January 2021.
Operation Flow
Through the users hands on operation, the magnetic levitation ball is placed to perform the function of the switch. The internal current monitoring sensor can sense the change of the magnetic levitation circuit and generate the on and off signals, realizing the use of placing the magnetic levitation ball to replace the ordinary switch Features. The top ball is stably suspended directly above the product to achieve the visual effect of the moon floating above the water.
Research
Happy water humidifier can hold 4 liters of water and can atomize 350 milliliters of water per hour. After one filling, it can humidify for ten hours continuously to increase the air humidity. The built in ultraviolet lamp can eliminate 99 percent of bacteria, and the silent water pump at the bottom of the water tank can sterilize the water cyclically. Turning on the humidifier by placing a magnetic ball makes people quickly enter a state of mindfulness and helps users eliminate anxiety.
Inspiration
It is inspired by the Chinese poem. The bright moon is born on the sea, and the horizon is at this time. Designers extracted water and moon as the modeling elements of the humidifier. Both of these elements occupy a very important position in traditional Chinese culture. We combine the two elements of water and moon with magnetic levitation technology to reflect the fusion of Chinese traditional culture and modern technology.
Project Overview
Happy Water Humidifier has been a Silver winner in the Home Appliances Design award category in the year 2020 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Silver A' Design Award celebrates top-tier designs that embody excellence and innovation. This award acknowledges creations that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional, reflecting the designer's deep understanding and skill.
