House for Twin Horse Design
This project is designed for a Japanese restaurant in Shanghai, China. The design elements include a lot of the Japanese culture such as Japanese cherry blossoms, ginkgo, Japanese kimono and so on. The restaurant needs to be classic, mysterious and stylish, so the designer used a lot of special Japanese denim on the walls and process it with special craftsmanship, with three dimensional cherry blossom motifs in order to make every guest feel like being in Japan.

This project does not have many special new craftsmanship in the construction, but the real difficulty is the control of the color black and white ratio in the design process. Because we want the design to be as simple as possible, but we also want to have a strong visual effect. In the end, our design can successfully present unique colors, it depends on our experience of the past dozens of times to grasp the accurate color ratio.
The project started in April 2020 in CHINA ShaoGuan and finished in July 2020

The design is inspired by the strong black-and-white contrast in black-and-white photography. The client like the design style to be European classical. At the same time the designers want to add some modern and exaggerated visual effects, so we used some geometry instead of the original classic-style columns, arches and other symbols in the design process. Coupled with a strong contrast of black and white colors, finally the client is very satisfied with the special effects presented by the design.
