Four types of the letters illustrate stages of the growth process: Breeding, Germinating, Growing and Flourishing. The letter is colored dark green, with silver and golden dots or seeds. The concept of this design is the power of seeds, the research objects for Beijing Forestry University. Production Technology
Considering environmental protection, the main material of the admission letter is made from gray cardboard, which is made of recycled waste paper and belongs to environment-friendly packaging material. Environmentally friendly papers are mounted on both sides of the grey board, and the patterns on the surface are made by bronzing and hot silver, which save ink printing. The overall design is exquisite with a solemn ritual, making people particularly enjoy it without throwing it away.
Design Challenge
1-The admission letter should reflect the school motto of " enjoying the scenery with hills and waters, cultivating people like planting trees". 2-It combines the characteristics of Beijing Forestry University , differing from those of other universities. 3-The work should be finished on time and with budget, and its cost should be reduced as far as possible on the premise of these gorgeous acceptance letters.
Project Duration
The project started in April 2018 in Beijing and finished in July 2018 in Beijing.

Research
Research Background: Because the admission letters in the other universities are all the same, many of them are like red certificates of merit or good news, which do not highlight the characteristics of the school and are easy to confuse people. In such an era of personalization, it is difficult to resonate with a admission letter without differentiation or characteristics, and it is more of a passive acceptance. Methods & Creation Process: First of all, from the creative of my design is unlike other similar products, the design is integrated the letter of admission with the characteristics, educational philosophy and spirit of BFU, making the audience know more about the school's unique culture.The admissions letter of Beijing Forestry University has three main colors: blackish green, earth gold and starry silver. The letter has square and circular shapes, symbolizing heaven and earth, and implying the growth of seeds. With the square of a 4 mm grey board , the overall design is exquisite with a solemn ritual, making people particularly enjoy it without throwing it away. I participate in the entire production and supervision process, finally presenting a delicate and unique admission letter.I think it is a window to spread the new campus culture. Tools & Materials: The main material of the admission letter is made from gray cardboard, which is made of recycled waste paper and belongs to environment-friendly packaging material.the notebook and an enrollment guidance is also made of eco-friendly papers. Results and Impact: The design , made by me, is issued by BFU to give each newborn, has finished printing production. The university has made the online promotion with ite initial release, within just two hours the number of browers surpassing 100,000, which has caused great sensationin in WeChat and Weibo and other social media including China central television (CCTV), China Daily, CCTV, Beijing daily, economic daily, surging news, new weekly, particularly published on weibo ( known as the China’s Twitter) as a hot top topic at the same time. It has become a model and a trendsetter in the design of admissions letters.
Inspiration
Almost all college admission letters are the same. I want to design an innovative, differentiated and recognizable notice that reflects the school motto of " enjoying the scenery with hills and waters, cultivating people like planting trees" as well as the philosophy and spirit of the school, so that the audience can feel the unique culture of the school when receiving the information. The message is designed to give the audience a better sense of the school's unique culture.
