Residential for CHENYI INTERIOR STUDIO
The project is based on the image of a gentleman with a pure neutral color. Uses modern design and a smooth layout to create a unique and customized atmosphere. To show the characteristic of the client, the designer used black iron parts with special gray paint to create a masculine style. Incorporated the Italian water-dyed wood veneer and the different textures of stones into the space and added some metal elements to show the gentleman's style.

The designer combined the layout, lines, and materials to achieve a consistent and coherent horizontal and vertical structure. Refined the division of lines, and the glass screen at the entrance is lined with iron pieces to reveal the simple layout of the house. The horizontal space is arranged in an open plan, and the ceiling is delineated by interspersing different materials and color intensity. As for the vertical design, uses lines to guide the traffic flow while the dining room to the corridor is connected by the same style of the ceiling.
Modern Style, Calm, Neutral tones, Grayscale variation, Mixed with different material
With a pure color base and in response to the client's preference for smooth and tidy texture, selects neutral materials with simple patterns and natural textures to decorate the space, interpreting the refined and light luxury style. The Grigio Carnico marble TV wall in the public area is complemented by the light ink-like stone countertop in the dining room, creating an extraordinary atmosphere. Special paint on the ceiling walls, water-stained wood veneer on the facade and cabinets, decorated with iron and metal elements, create a harmonious aesthetic that is both wild and elegant.
The challenge of this project was to introduce youthful, personalized energy into the dark tone and modern style house. The designers have adjusted the ratio of colors and material mixes in a neutral gray tone. At the same time, the designer selects special stucco paint and Grigio Carnico marble TV walls to present the exquisite pattern and texture. In addition, the stone dining table and the center island are supported by an iron structure to maintain the lightness of the volume. Thanks to the client's trust and effective communication during the project, the designer finally creates a perfect work.
The project finished in May 2021 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
In contrast to the traditional impression of dark colors and living space, this project follows the core value of "home is rest" and "life is landscape." The living room and working area are created along with the large window, and the large L-shaped sofa is naturally connected to the desk, creating an open plan layout. The client can enjoy the greenery and the sunlight in this space and enjoy the view in different seasons. The master bedroom is the space for relaxing, with a functional dressing area at the end of the bed and a door at the head of the bed connecting to the dressing room.
Created through the transformation of the grayscale, shades, colors, different materials, and lines. Used an open plan design to create a spacious living room, where the furniture is arranged in an orderly and flexible manner, and the desk and L-shaped sofa are linked with the view inside the house and the view outside the window. In addition, the TV wall and the bookshelf are symmetrically arranged to create plenty of storage, as well as an artistic view of the house. Next to the bar, the wine cabinet and display cabinet are provided to meet the needs of the client for daily drinking and collecting.
The designer took the client's calm personality and preference for dark colors into account, shaped the space with a unique concept. The whole area is mixed by the color of neutral grayscale and the layers of material texture to form a strong visual. In addition, through the lines, layout, and the proportion of hardware and software, the designer has recreated a new, young, and exquisite space with a modern gentleman style. The design of this project is a combination of functional and fashionable designs.
