Residential for Ching Yi Interior Design Co., Ltd.
The aesthetic communication of the space is originated from the owner's keenness and requirements towards a modern style. The designer applied greyscale color tones such as black, grey, and white to elaborate the low-limit and simple scene. At the same time, to avoid dullness, the designer applied stone materials, paints, and baking paints that created glossy, matte, and surfacer lights and shadows. With the aggressive changes of the lights and shadows, a rich depth of field is developed.

The designer applied greyscale color tones such as black, grey, and white and supplemented them with linear to divide the ratio; a modern yet simple visual style is outlined. The square and round metal modeling surface on the wall is paired with indirect lighting. To meet the client hospitable demands, the designer observed the original space and tore down the compartment wall initially located in the open-ended study; then, the traffic flow between the entryway, the living room, the study, and the kitchen has created an aggressive yet abundant feeling smoothly.
modern style, simple, freely and refreshingly, clean linear and geometric divisions
Marble stones, special paints, baking paints, metal surface plates, Changhong glasses, diamond-shaped bricks, LED light strips, solid wood veneer.
After observing the space, the designer noticed that a beam-column had passed right through the living room and the study; to decrease pressure caused by the beams while cooperating with the pipelines and air conditioners, the designer applied a neat and straight line to digest the corners of the beam. After precise designing for the height, a consistent ceiling modeling is created; finally, a slight height difference is used to create a hidden borderline between each area.
The project finished in September 2020 in Taiwan.
The design for the public area is inspired by the client lifestyle and function requirements; to meet the client demands for hosting, the designer tore down the rigid compartment initially placed at the open-ended study. Then, an open-end method that connected the entryway, the living room, the study, the dining room, and other public areas are applied. At the same time, the patterns of the flooring and the placements of the furniture have secretly hinted the difference between each room function. When the owning couple has guests, they will have interactions freely and easily in each area.
Using primary colors such as black, grey, and white to elaborate the central scene of the space. With the design of indirect lightings, the deep-colored facade is lightened. Used square and round metal modeling surfaces to decorate the space while applying shadows and lights to create a rich depth of field and a changing visual expression. The designer used an open-end method the connect the entryway, the living room, the study, the kitchen, and other areas; with the differences of the flooring materials and the transformations of the ceiling line.
A home is more than a pure living space; it echoes the client actual characteristics. The designer applied the client favorite modern style in this designing project, applying greyscale colors tones such as black, grey, and white as the theme. With the help of clean linear and geometric divisions, modern yet straightforward space is created. To echo with the client optimistic and hospitable characteristics, the designer applied depth of field by extending lights and shadows; the laying lights and shadows tenderly injected a sense of liveliness that delivers a restrained yet rich living aesthetic
