Residential for YUYU Interior Design
This place is based on the classic southern seas' mix and match; kneading with the western elements, the spreading of vintage furniture has created a unique sense. Several scales of French windows are used. The descending floor balcony is set up between the public area and the study; with greenery plants placed, the overall is presented with a livelier image. The open-ended site spatial connects with the living room and kitchen; an island is set to separate the dining and the cooking spaces secretly.

Through the style and sense of foreign mashup and the selection of an exclusive collection of retro FFE, the use of delicate strip outlines and materials has created a space atmosphere full of colonial sense. Meanwhile, large-scale transparent French windows are used so that the exquisitely designed outdoor area can be seen, allowing customers a more profound impression of the spatial and aesthetic. The private room is divided into the main bedroom and the guest room. The mixing of the homogenous materials creates an introverted and rich space atmosphere; with the warm and transparent daylight lighting.
Colonial style, vintage furniture, eastern and western mashup, flexible space, elegant western house.
Classic southern seas mix and match FFEs, vintage furniture, French windows that draw in the sunlight, descending floor for the balcony layout, vintage mirrors, tight and sunken barrel straight backboard with framed headboard, button trimmed sofa with edging, etc.
The designer planned the living, dining, and kitchen areas in the open-ended area through the porous partition walls. As for the sinking balcony, it is connected to the main bedroom and the public area; a multifunctional round table is also set up as the core to each room. A perfectly balanced space usage has eased the weird sense between the original public and private areas.
The project finished in Taoyuan, Taiwan.
The structure is a model house; the design concept and the space usage has represented perfectly through the thought-through spatial cropping. The main object was the transparent, open-ended public space; it further highlights transparency and coherence by connecting each area's characteristics. Meanwhile, multiple uses for the French windows are deployed to draw abundant daylights and deliver a tropical sense of the southern seas. With the selection of various exotic FFEs, a distinctive tone of colonial-style is condensed, showing exotic mashup's perfection and style.
This case is a 70-ping sized model house; the smooth spatial design delivers a high quality of living. The overall used colonial style as the designing core and multiple FFE vintage items the owner collected during his trips to southeast Asia. The historical furnishings and calm tones such as wooden, ivory, the hollowed barrel straight framed backboard, button trimmed sofa, and others create a luxurious colonial-style for the mansion. By combining the natural advantages of the space, nature lights are drawn into the house.
The design core for the area is the colonial style with an exotic texture of mix and match. The mashup extension between the east and the west elements injects a rich and exquisite atmosphere in each area. Also, multiple vintages and foreign furniture collections are placed in this area; with unique ideas that bring old items back to life, the richness of the golden age is refined in history's essence of eternity.
