Residential for COSMOS D&M COG„ LTD
Took advantage of stone materials characteristics and grains to create an ornate atmosphere. Both entryway and the dining room are applied with marble block-jointed floorings; simple lines echo with the curves on the ceiling. The neutral tones of the warm and grey marble stones, granites, blue malachite, and other deep-colored stone materials have created a multi-level for the top. Stainless titanium-plate colors outlined the structures of areas and combined them with visual traffic flows. With the alternative between lightings, it has united the style of the master bedroom.

The residence contains different designs. The light food bar area and the kitchen wall cabinet backboard uses unique ruby stone materials. The lines of the structure are made of rose metal which its delicate vibe echoes with the colors of the stone materials. The entrance of the master bedroom is equipped with a small entryway along with hanging chandeliers and marble block-jointed flooring to create a multi-level feel for the resting space. Selected materials are the same as the public area style of rose gold and stone materials with the same color tones.
Marble, Granite, Stainless titanium-plated metal, Ruby, Modern style, Luxurious, Natural stone materials
Marble, ruby, granite, artificial light stone board, tiles, stainless titanium-plates, copper strip, steel-brushed solid veneer, black mirror, mirror, cloth, synthetic leather, wallpaper, latex paint.
This case is a rare space design from its material diversity; its complexity was hard to deliver. Yet, the designer point of view and atheistic applied material characteristics precisely to balance the colors within the structure. The curved linear designs and warm-color-toned stainless titanium-plated materials soften the sharpness from the angles, while the light-colored ceiling increased the public area leading tone. Other materials on the high top, the rose gold metal board, increase the delicacy for the space. Dark-colored soft furniture strengthens visual highlights and expanded the colors into private areas.
The project finished in June 2010 in New Taipei City, Taiwan.
All coffee tables, bar counters, dining tables, and other surfaces are made with marble materials in dark colors, allowing users to enjoy drinks and food freely without considering dyeing and other maintenance issues; it also increases the steadiness of the space. In this residence, the Fibaro Living Home system is specially selected to connect with lightings, curtains, projectors, televisions, sounds, and other home appliances for indoor mode control at different times; it could even prepare coffee when the client is awake.
The client of the residence values privacy; therefore, the separations between public and private areas are made to be precise. Guest bathrooms are set up to maintain the human traffic flow for guest greeting and private spaces starting from the entryway. The living room ceiling applied rose gold titanium-plated boards with scattered curved terrace design; the color of the metal will reflect indirectly through the lightings that create an elegant sense for the area by echoing with the natural stone materials.
This house client of this case is fond of comfortable and refined residences. Three generations live within the space, and the planning started from the roughcast stage. From the public space that greets guests, the smooth traffic flow of the kitchen and the dining room, and the clear separation between private and public areas, the designer applied a massive amount of natural stone materials to create staggering visual effects and delivered a sense of nature and delicate. The people-oriented concept can be seen in the balance between areas and the cleaver details of lights and shadows.
