The Smile Campaign is supporting a local foundation a move for Lay's to take a big step forward in establishing itself as a purposeful brand. The Lay's Smile Campaign supports the Friendship Program of the Best Buddies Foundation with one ruble donated from each pack purchased.

Inspiration

The design challenge for the Lay’s Smile Campaign was to bring together many different important elements to create a cohesive and joyful pack. The Design Team needed to include both a smiling face as the main design element, stay true to the overarching Lay’s VIS for brand unity and maintain flavor cues, while visually incorporating the support of the Best Buddies Foundation.

Project Overview

Lay's Smiles Campaign Food Packaging has been a Bronze winner in the Packaging Design award category in the year 2021 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality. It recognizes the dedication and skill of designers who produce work that stands out for its thoughtful development and innovative use of materials and technology. These designs are acknowledged for their professional execution and potential to influence industry standards positively. Winning this award highlights the designer's ability to blend form and function effectively, offering solutions that enhance people's lives and wellbeing.
