Production Technology
The store made of logs and stainless steel refers to features of traditional Chinese architecture, such as trusses and window grilles, and uses modern stainless steel, pp sheet and other materials to connect the whole space instead of completely separating functional areas, therefore creates a layered space. Furthermore, the application of rattan-weaving materials and soft fabrics also brings natural and elegant oriental features to the store.
Design Challenge
1. Employ traditional culture to make appropriate modernization adjustments to traditional architectural elements, and recreate in materials, structure, techniques, etc.; 2. Develop thematic and delightful scene modules to give advice for a better life.
Project Duration
Guangzhou, Guangdong province witnessed the launch of this project in July, 2021, and it was completed in Jiangmen, Guangdong Province, in December, 2021.
Operation Flow
1. The semi open store design and the squire and symmetrical layout connect the inside and outside, appear transparent and natural，and attractive to consumers. 2. Diversified functional areas constitute modularized scenes with different themes, thus improve the in store shopping experience. 3. The application of elements in traditional Chinese architecture, with materials of different textures and colors, endows the space with traditional humanistic aesthetic appeal.
Research
The research on modern home stores found that, with the continuous growth of the consumption level of Chinese residents, people began to express their taste though home decoration; Moreover, the return and development of traditional culture has spawned more creations based on traditional aesthetics.CONLIA HOME integrates oriental humanistic aesthetics and home decoration to create a general store highlighting local features. In addition, there are no other similar brands in China insofar.
Inspiration
The brand concept store is designed for inheriting and carrying forward traditional Chinese culture and architectural art, and is committed to conveying the idea of natural residence through modern creation techniques. The new pursuitsChinese people for a better life arouses their aesthetic taste in the national cultural psychology. Characteristics of traditional Chinese architecture reflects the traditional culture and spiritual realm of people.
Project Overview
Conlia Home Image Store Retail Space has been a Bronze winner in the Interior Space and Exhibition Design award category in the year 2021 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality. It recognizes the dedication and skill of designers who produce work that stands out for its thoughtful development and innovative use of materials and technology. These designs are acknowledged for their professional execution and potential to influence industry standards positively.
