The Especie armchair is manufactured by reusing solid wood from demolition, going through the sanding and varnishing process. Its swivel base is made of steel and its seat, made of medium density polyurethane, is covered with nautical fabric.
The biggest challenge of the project was during the execution process. The fittings between the metal base and the wooden seat should be made in a way that makes the product resistant, ergonomic and safe for the user.
This project has started in November 2021 in Rio de Janeiro and finished in February 2022 in Rio de Janeiro.
