Private Homes for Chien Architects
The designer has greatly reduced the tortuous local block setting in the space, and broken the traditional split and spliced layout of indoor space in terms of functional field division and connection relationship. The sense of boundary between blocks are deliberately blurred, forming a continuous moving line effect and giving a more dynamic performance to the transition of free scenes.

The designer follows the story theme of 'AliceinWonderland' in the case to deepen the simple order of guiding emotional perception. The design is close to the childlike dream, conveys the visual image of returning to nature and gives the viewer the feeling of roaming and exploring. After concise design techniques, most of the decorative surfaces are naturally connected by continuous and open visual lines. Excessive polishing and unnecessary elements are omitted at the details.
Penetrate, Flow, Suspend, Multilevel, Gray Space, Living Container
In order to avoid the straightforward narration that can be seen at a glance, the designer uses the irregular plane mirror, the creative pattern with lively colors and the hanging TV screen placed in the eye-catching place to form a staggered and harmonious overlapping state. The overall space with low saturation and children's fun decoration dotted in the functional area enhance the flexibility and diversity, which enrich the visual experience.
Through the orderly distribution of columns, the designer introduces the outdoor trails of the jungle into the interior, and sublimated the exquisite artistic feeling of the audience with the design of the creative geometric sewage pipes.
Project start time: 2021/06/30 Project completion time: 2022/03/01 Location: Dibao, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, China
The whole project is a trapezoidal structure, which is completed from bottom to top by collage of bright and colorful geometric materials, supplemented by embedded light slots, and uses lights to deepen the mystery and attract people. The inner labyrinth structure echoes the theme of children's interest, and guides the viewer to experience the situation shaped by the physical space from the perspective of children who are purely seeking knowledge.
The smooth and round structural modeling has a sense of interest surrounded by a secret world. On the open space base of implicit and lively combination, the artistic elements break away from the shackles of the shallow decorative function and blend into the light and shadow. In the details, the fairy tale image like a colorful fairyland is pushed into the visual world associated with the deep carving.
The expression of artistic conception of lighting is an innovative aesthetic attempt in this case. The designer uses embedded lamps to enhance the artistic style of the space scenery, and blends the light with the natural light through the soft light source. On the basis of reducing the influence of traditional artificial lighting on the large range of direct illumination, the implicit and flexible design language should be enhanced.
