The challenge was to develop a new modern language within the design for the typeface, that created a new modern aesthetic.
Project Duration
The font family was developed in 2022.
Research
Researching both Sans and serif typefaces from the early 20th century allowed us to develop a hybrid modern, stylistic humanist typeface.
Inspiration
Inspiration for the font family was from design sketches for a san serif font, but as the process advanced the forms and structures developed in the direction of a hybrid typeface. The designs are rooted in the serif style with some of the glyph terminals developed through sans forms, creating a modern adaptable font family,
