Production Technology
Made of one-piece tempered glass, Hbp shows a borderless visual effect. The whole series made of sgs-certified bacteriostatic material effectively blocks viral spread, which is adaptable to the current environment of pandemic prevention. Fingerprint-resistant surface treatment of panels effectively avoids the impact of fingerprints on the appearance, keeping the public product look new for a long time, significantly prolonging the product life cycle and reducing the cost of brands and customers.
Design Challenge
The hbp panel made of one-piece tempered glass, with the minimalist visual performance, can adapt to lift halls of various styles. Supported by the IOT,the intelligent otis one can display elevator status in realtime, such as the overloading, water ingress, fire service and nudging service modes and guide passengers to avoid danger. The use of a vertical high-definition display provides clearer and more delicate visual experience and enhances the quick absorption of information.
Project Duration
The project was developed in Hangzhou in November 2021 and released in China in April 2022.
Operation Flow
The smart cop based on the IOT platform provides a brand-new solution to information display: via data collection and algorithm processing, it clearly informs users of key points like accumulative running time number and energy consumption for a more humanized lift-taking experience. The slightly tilting horizontal display ensures a comfortable viewing experience even in narrow spaces. It supports remote change of interface and contributes to a harmonious blend of the lift and buildings.
Research
The application of IOT involves all aspects and effectively promotes the intelligent development in various aspects, which makes the allocation of limited resources more reasonable, thus improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the industry. Its research and adoption of IOT has greatly bettered the way, experience and safety of lift-taking, greatly improving the quality of life.
Inspiration
The Hbp22 series style follows the classic otis hbp panel shape, and the overall unification of brand elements is distinctive from similar products on the market. Relying on otis one IOT, more humanized functions are applied to improve the lift-taking experience. The intelligent IOT panel provides a new possibility for elevator information display instead of single information element and highlighting key information by using the elevator data collection and algorithm processing of the platform.

Hbp22 Series Elevator has been a Iron winner in the Building Materials and Construction Components Design award category in the year 2022 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition.
