This is a gift package for Chinese tea. It's called Rising Sun, which refers to the morning sun rising in the east full of vigor and vitality. It is from the Chinese ancient classic Book of Songs Beifeng, with a good implication. The packaging is a combination of vigorous Chinese calligraphy and an illustration of the sunrise in Mount Tai. The packaging as a whole has a unique sense of Chinese aesthetics and blessings, wishing those who receive gifts will have the same meaning as the gift itself, a better career and life.

Unique Properties
the theme of its design is “sunrise”, which is a symbol of hope and beauty in China. An ancient Chinese sun totem is used on the top of the can, with four raised round faces symbolizing abundance throughout the year. The design of the outer box adopts the sunrise scene in the Mount Tai, which is viewed as the Oriental go. Thus,
Production Technology
The main materials for packaging are ceramics and paper, and the outer box is composed of paper and metal. The tea pot is made of ceramic firing.
Project Duration
This work was designed and produced in Shenzhen, China in July 2022, and was released in 3000 stores in the Chinese market in December of the same year. Incorporated selected exhibitions in Xiamen and Chengdu, China.
Inspiration
it is a product with a beautiful implied meaning. In the Shandong province of China rises Mount Tai, which is also the highest of the five great mountains in China. When appreciating the sunrise on Mount Tai, the sun rises from the sea of clouds, the mountains and heaven and earth covered with romantic red color. Everything is revived and full of vitality, inspiring me to create the tea packaging design.
