Shared Space for Chiun Ju Interior Design
The symmetrical arcs in the interior lead the eye forward. The reception area is wrapped in a golden frame, and the perforated wall behind the counter shimmers with warm light. Metal, stone, and sky are interwoven and fused, like a deep, clear spring. The organic matter of nature and the cool texture nourish the deepest part of the heart. The power of inheritance comes from the reverence for life. The beehive-like design of the play area is based on the organization and continuation of natural life, with a pastel color palette and soft touch for children.

The fusion of heritage and breakthrough: The timelessness of classic style lies in its durability and aesthetics. The project strikes a balance between breakthrough and innovation. By reducing the amount of intricate carvings and embellishments, kept the aesthetics symmetrical to make the 4.2-meter-high space more grand. Gold panels and metal lines frame each area to create a depth of field. The copper metal lines are applied to the ceiling and flooring to achieve symmetry between the top and bottom.
Large space, high ceiling, neutral tone, natural materials, nature, honeycomb, annual rings, modern style.
Building materials: copper metal trim, marble, wood veneer, woodwork, ironwork, etc. Bold colors: In terms of color scheme, the design team tried to spread the color scheme in black and white. The bold colors and the gold lines are combined to create a unique style. The impact of visual impact and the height of the building gives a clear first impression, which is a rare color scheme in a shared space.
The project was under construction at the time of the epidemic, so there was a serious shortage of labor and materials. In particular, the project used mostly natural materials. During the period of material shortage, the design team had to adjust the schedule to avoid prolonging the construction period. Another challenge was the circulation. Considering the symmetrical design and the asymmetrical site, the design team cleverly solved the abruptness and finally achieved a perfect balance.
The project finished in 2022 in Taiwan.
The project provides community residents with a gym and cafe, as well as spaces for specific groups. Children can read in the reading area, while adults who love to cook can spend quality time with friends in the cooking classroom. The semi-transparent design connects the areas, allowing the natural materials to be evenly revealed in each place. Between the solid and the void of the partitions, users can enjoy a more spacious environment while maintaining privacy.
The project combines the concepts of 'heritage' and 'breakthrough', expressing the vitality of nature and the core of the bloodline, and creating a comfortable experience with natural materials. The project achieves a symmetrical aesthetic. The design team used gold panels and metal lines to frame the landscape to create depth. The design of the play area and reading area is inspired by natural life, presenting intimacy and sensuality while highlighting the accumulation and connection of time.
The project is a shared space. As the second generation of a business family, the client wants the area to have a different atmosphere than before. The project is designed to be modern, grand, and stylish. The design team combined the concepts of 'heritage' and 'breakthrough' to convey the impression of nature's unceasing life to get the core of the bloodline. Natural materials are presented to the public to form a comfortable experience.
