Residential for J+C Interior Design
The project is a commercial endeavor where maintaining cost was crucial. However, an ideal proposal that balances economic considerations and embraces the open seascape, lightweight structure, and rustic beauty was realized. The design involved modifying an approximately 100 square meters indoor area by removing a partition wall to capture an invaluable view. The entrance features a raised platform with a wash and sand function. It's connected by stairs to different bedrooms and the entryway, leading to a semi-outdoor Jacuzzi on the balcony, which forms the core of the design.

With an indoor area of about 100 square meters, the design strategy involved removing a room partition wall to capture the priceless view. The entrance is characterized by a raised platform with a wash and sand function, connected by stairs to different bedrooms and the entryway, culminating in a semi-outdoor Jacuzzi on the balcony—forming the core of the design.

The use of lightweight bricks for the raised platform and a micro-cement coating ensures structural lightness while displaying a rustic aesthetic. The space harmoniously blends Greek-style arch windows, wicker lamp art, and wooden items, dialoguing softly with the blues and greens of the outdoor seascape.
The challenge was to maximize the potential of the site's inherent conditions to secure an unobstructed and expansive sea view while maintaining a balance between cost control and the optimal presentation of space quality and style.
The project started in Jan. 2023 and finished in May. 2023 in China.
The removal of one room's partition walls opened up the space, merging it with the existing dining and living area. This, along with the raised floor near the entrance, achieved an unobstructed flow, defining public and private domains within the residence.
The design focused on exploiting the site's innate advantages to provide an unhindered and open seascape view, enhancing circulation, and clearly distinguishing between communal and private spaces.
The inspiration for this high-rise residential project, situated on the oceanfront's first row, was drawn from the breathtaking 270-degree panoramic seascape. The expansive windows and 90-degree wrap-around balcony are integral to the design, offering an unobstructed view that nurtures a luxurious and romantic living experience.
