Unique Properties
This leisure chair is based on the natural state of flowers in full bloom. Through observing and understanding the flowers in the natural world, it abstracts the shape of petals， stretching and blooming, and extracts the natural flowing lines of flowers in full bloom, the connection form between pedicel and petal is used for reference in structure, and the material, shape and structure are skillfully designed and carefully treated.

Production Technology
The whole is made of white copper as raw material and processed by 3D printing technology. The overall strength is good, showing the metallic luster, fully demonstrating the beauty of the material itself, and adding a point to the overall shape.
Design Challenge
To realize the organic integration of seat surface, backrest and chair legs, find the most beautiful surface Angle and achieve the coordinated proportion of each part. Achieve the organic unity of furniture shape and structure.
Project Duration
The design had started in Shenyang in January 2023, completed in Shenyang in June 2023, and displayed in the museum of Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in Shenyang in June in 2023.
Operation Flow
The structure of the seat and back helps to support the spine and help people use the seat correctly. Used for rest, reading, decoration and other functions.
Research
The chair is designed with flowers as inspiration, extracting the natural flow and vitality curve of flowers when they are in full bloom, and combining the beautiful form of flowers with ergonomics to form the seat.
Inspiration
The chair is inspired by the blooming flowers. The seat and back take the shape of the petals. The shape is organic and ergonomic. The armrest is in the shape of a flower opening and turning outward, while showing the strength and beauty of life, it also satisfies the functionality. The bottom of the seat adopts a triangular supporting structure, which draws on the pedicel and is designed to cleverly connect the seat, ensure seat stability and load-bearing capacity.
Project Overview
Blooming Leisure Chair has been a Bronze winner in the Furniture Design award category in the year 2023 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality. It recognizes the dedication and skill of designers who produce work that stands out for its thoughtful development and innovative use of materials and technology. These designs are acknowledged for their professional execution and potential to influence industry standards positively. Winning this award highlights the designer's ability to blend form and function effectively, offering solutions that enhance people's lives and wellbeing.
