This is the packaging for women's underwear. Eco Surecare delivers a free and comfortable lifestyle for happy young people and Chinese women who pursue quality of life with products with appearance level, innovation and content. Through constant exploration, designers embody the high quality of products through minimalist design aesthetics. The elegant color series is more fashionable, and the simple and powerful lines convey female power. The packaging adopts the form of one piece, no glue, more environmentally friendly. This is an innovation in the design of underwear packaging.

ECO SURECARE uses an integrated process on the packaging structure, which can be combined without the use of glue, saving materials and reducing resource use. Every possible effort was made to select recyclable materials and degradable paper for packaging. The side of the box is triangular structure, which can be stacked in a staggered manner, saving one-fifth of the transportation space.
The challenge is to create a stylish and simple design concept that embodies the brand's values of freedom and comfort, while also meeting functional packaging requirements with environmentally friendly and lightweight materials. The packaging box has undergone extensive testing and modification to optimize transportation space efficiency, as well as being lightweight and eco-friendly.
The project started in June 2023 in Guangzhou, China, and ended in Guangzhou, China, in November 2023. The product is continuously sold across all major Chinese e-commerce platforms.
Thinking out of the box and experimenting with various shapes of the packaging box, the final special-shaped packaging box structure is more material-saving and unique; the shape of the box is a triangular structure, and staggered placement can effectively reduce the product's transportation space. In the way of opening, I considered the interactive form of the package, hoping that customers can see the essential health tips label when they open it instead of using a separate card.
The research methodology combined desk research, external agency focused groups investigation and sampling from 200 female customers. There are two aims: one, to truly seek the latest views and feedback from female customers on what they hate and love about the available underwear packaging from major brands in China, including the stereotypes, poor design, or lack of sensitivity. Two, through data, we aim to understand whether customers’ sustainability awareness has been translated into actual conscious buying patterns, as in whether society’s values of protecting nature and biodiversity is driving the value ($). Data and qualitative research showed that about 66.67% of female customers are unhappy with the packaging available from the market, the top critique being' way too boring design' and 'monotony'. The runner-up critique says there is too much unnecessary packaging, especially when layers of plastic are used. On environmental consciousness, over 50% of female customers point to us that they are willing to pay extra premium costs to buy sustainably packaged products and they will pay more attention to design that tells a sustainability narrative.

Fundamentally, it's about giving customers an enjoyable experience when buying what may be the most intimate product of their lives. ECO SURECARE is eager to bring environmentally friendly products to a big market like China and inspire more people to consume consciously. The growing call for women to pursue freedom and unlimited life has inspired designers. On the environmental front, the Royal Golden Eagle's (RGE) nature conservation efforts in Asia have inspired us a lot.
