BCBG is a brand of crisps created in 2001 in the south of France. This brand offers top quality manufacturing with great creativity of recipes and flavors. Designers created in 2020 a new serie of characters for the new range of crips. They worked on a concept of crips/characters. These new illustrations represent the range of crisps in an original and fun tone. Characters are nice and elegant like the product represented.

The brand of BCBG craft chips offers top quality manufacturing with great creativity of recipes and flavors. The new range is based on a series of characters in the shape of chips which illustrates the recipe of each product with a fun and warm tone. Each character is an unique creation because each product has a unique taste..

Production Technology
The graphics used for the range of chips is a clean and impacting graphic. The lightness given to packaging connotes the product as a natural product, healthy and authentic. Each product is represented by a friendly character.
Design Challenge
Modernize the range without losing customers. Stand out from other packets of chips to attract new customers.
Project Duration
The project started in 2009 and we create the last one this year, in 2019, the products are now distributed in all SNCF bar wagons, but also at Carrefour, Intermarché and Monoprix in France.
Operation Flow
Chips are made in the south of France with natural products. No coloring agents and preserving products.
Research
We first thought about a range of characters corresponding to each product in the range. Then we drew with Illustrator and adapted them according to the product. We
Inspiration
Our agency was inspired by clean and impacting packaging, especially from the United Kingdom and Brazil. We also take a lot of inspiration from packaging from Favourite Design and a Design Award Books. We are looking also inspiration on Instagram.
