Photographer André Zwadlo is first and foremost more of an artist than a photographer. He prefers to work on free projects than to be restricted in his work by others through commissioned work. That is why he also works in other areas for a living although photography is the most important for him. Most pictures are black and white, if not, they are very often taken at night where then slowly the calm settles over the city. Most images are more graphic than authentic, for him it is not important to represent reality but to show his own view of the world even if the images are too gloomy for many.
