Boutique Shop for Aak Design studio
Collapse, Subvert, Explosion, Recombination are the themes of this design. Space uses the form of fragmentation and dumping to convey the concept of subversion. The spatial arrangement emphasizes flexibility to meet the needs of the owner to host art events at any time. In addition, by increasing the sculptural sense of the display props, the artistic performance of the merchandise display is improved, so that each prop is like a work of art. At the same time, the space integrates the concept of movie scenes, making props and commodities complete a three-dimensional sculpture in space.

Le Templer combines the meanings of Temper and Temple. This is a department store covering more than 2000 square meters. Let fashion, art, and design meet here. What Aak want to create is not a boutique full of gorgeous decoration, but want to create a three- dimensional magazine that can enter and experience.
templer, art, installation, Fashion, education
The construction technology is roughly the same as that used in general interior decoration projects. The main difference is that we are more like producing artwork. Each display prop has a unique character and conveys different meanings in each area.
Challenging the force of gravity. The project was born from the paradoxical idea of collapsing a new place before even seeing it finished. The idea was to elaborate the fragments, cracks, structures, the upside down aesthetics. Walls and ceilings are "blocked" just before the final collapse. Regenerating and being reborn were then the next steps. So the environments change from one state to another, like a "gradient" from a strong to a softer shock wave effect.
This project is located in Shanghai, officially started in July 2019 and finished in December 2019. The total area is 2069 square meters, which only lasted 1.5 months of construction time.
Le Templer is not a traditional shop of fashion boutique. It provides both online and offline diversified service content. It also regularly organizes art events. Le Templer provides an exchange platform that combines art, fashion, and consumer information. Through the Radio Frequency Identification system records and analyzes consumers' purchase preferences and provides the latest fashion information online at any time.
The design goal of Le Templer is mainly to enhance the aesthetic, cultural, artistic, and educational values that fashion shops should have. In terms of space planning, Aak thinks about the possibility of holding more art events for the boutique store space. With the operation of the project Le Templer in China. Aak found that in today's environment full of multimedia information, customer's experience of space is like the new and loathe the old. Therefore, a space plan that can be quickly adjusted becomes the best way to respond to the market, which also proves the successful experiment of Le Templer.
Aak is trying to find a spatial form to express the dialogue between fashion and state of art. Aak challenges the stability of space, creating a series of overturning, fracture, collapse, unstable. We hope to find a form again through the means of destruction. Decompose and reorganize spatial elements. It is like conducting an explosion experiment, the final dust settled and returned to stability. The form is transformed by disintegration and the work at the temple of fashion is in progress.
