Design Challenge

In the process of product proofing and production, there are also many obstacles, because some of them are completed by hand, and there are some difficulties in the assembly process. Through close communication with the manufacturer in the later stage, the final product can be perfectly presented, and the market feedback is good

Project Duration

The project was created in February 2019 and completed in Shenzhen in June 2019, and sold in Chengdu, China

Opening is a process of exploring the unknown, just like mining treasure, giving people surprise and expectation.

Research

In the process of product creative design, not only the consumers of the product should be considered, but also the experience of customers and the effect of the product on the shelf. Reasonable expression of material, convenient use of products, environmental protection and recycling can promote the sales of products.

Inspiration

The origination of the package of the tea comes from the tiger, which guards the imperial tea garden, dragon shaped old well and Menshan stones. It has tactfully connected the geological cultural structure. It is carefree and plain and ingenious beyond description. The tiger is crouching and dragon is hidden inside, which represents that Mengding mountains is the place with lots of hidden treasures.

Project Overview

Yipin Yellow Tea Tea Packaging has been a Iron winner in the Packaging Design award category in the year 2020 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Iron A' Design Award is awarded to good designs that meet the rigorous professional and industrial standards set by the A' Design Awards. This recognition is reserved for works that demonstrate a solid understanding of design principles and show creativity within their execution. Recipients of the Iron A' Design Award are acknowledged for their practical innovations and contributions to their respective fields, providing solutions that improve quality of life and foster positive change.
