Design Challenge
The main goal is to integrate the front suction, rubber brush, auto spraying and wet mopping in a perfect sequence. It takes a lot of effort to make the space for the front suction mouth ahead of the brushroll to avoid hair tangling. Another challenge is to distinguish the carpet on the floor to let the mopping pad automatically lift up, and remove the stains with 600g force when cleaning the hard floor. Finally, the App is crafted to accommodate all the features and provide convenience in use.
Project Duration
This project started in 2020 in Taiwan and will launch in the first half of 2022.
Operation Flow
LegeeD7 fits all terrains thanks to the slam navigation and 20mm obstacle crossing ability. It grabs the hair by a front suction and a deep cleaning brushroll, and the heavy wet mop followed for a complete clean. Customize the task with 8 cleaning modes, virtual barrier, curtain zone, and climbing control to tackle various types of mess in different rooms and simply connect the App via wifi or Hotspot, the squeaky clean floor is just a few taps away, or a short command to Siri or Ok Google.
Research
The tangled hair, sticky stains, and complex environment are the common challenges that general floor cleaning robots encounter. LegeeD7 provides great solutions: the front suction greatly avoids to tangling hair, the brushroll removes the hidden dirt from the carpet and ground, and the mopping pad applies 600g force against the floor to remove the sticky stains while raises above the ground for 6mm automatically when cleaning the carpet or climbing over the thresholds and the transition bar.
Inspiration
Given that the general robot vacuum cleaner cannot remove the stain entirely and the brushroll is always tangling hair, the complex maintenance after use is not so pleasant, LegeeD7 is therefore designed with a front suction to pick up the hair and lightweight dust ahead of time to avoid the brushroll tangling; the auto recognition mopping avoids the wet mopping pad to touch the carpet. Moreover, equipped with the adjustable ability of 20mm obstacle climbing, LegeeD7 can run on all terrain.
Project Overview
