Art Exhibition Hall for Shenzhen Ruyu Space Design Co., LTD
The first floor is set as the home exhibition hall, and two wooden boxes are placed in the double-height space. Inside the box, there is a mezzanine platform, which not only meets the needs of office, but also shows the difference in the internal division. The ground floor is planned as an art exhibition hall and salon, which is more open in design and takes the artwork itself as the medium to form the moving line segmentation of the underground space.

Will Would is an aesthetic cluster of art, design, furniture, floriculture and salon. As its aesthetic claim goes, will would attempts to discuss a relationship through the design of the exhibition hall how people and things establish a connection in space and how the meaning of things is acquired. In the process of spatial development, the narration of people and thing slowly unfolds through the fuzzy interface.
Ordinary People's Art Exhibition, Home Aesthetic Space, Composite Commerce, Fuzzy Cluster , Diversity, More Possibilities
A YIP negotiation room is arranged on the first floor, which has a ceremonial revolving door and a warm stove, to make it comfortable and homely. On the other side is a large empty living room with open center table, which is not only a symbol of villa luxury, but also carries more functions of social activities. We hope to have different theme activities every month.
When we found this space, the ground floor was a closed dark space. In all spaces, the space with poor lighting often has the lowest utilization rate and the shortest stay time. We use design techniques to break this trend and reconstruct the ground floor, to make it the most attractive place in the whole space. We moved the stairway under the window to introduce external natural light, and change the wall of the inner courtyard into a window view to introduce the light of the courtyard.
The project was launched in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China in November 2020 and completed in January 2021, it was exhibited in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province in April 2021.
Three "courtyards" are placed in the space, through which the landscape either horizontally or vertically penetrating the different functional divisions. It makes space interpenetrate and lead to sensory continuity. Meanwhile, these courtyards also become the medium of light and bring natural light to different space. With the intervention of light, the clear boundary is replaced by soft bright. The warmth touched by vision makes things seem "connected", with soft and fuzzy boundaries.
Many years ago, I came across a busker who was writing life with his broken hands. At that time, I felt deeply in my heart that real art has no fixed form, art can not only be presented by celebrities, nor can it only be presented in museums and galleries. Even the disabled people on the street can bravely express their own life. This touch planted a seed in my heart.
Most of the craftsman and ordinary collectors are simple, without too much business thinking and unable to attract more like-minded people. Therefore, I ask myself: Does an exhibition have to show artworks by famous artists? Can we make an exhibition of ordinary people? Based on this, our team carried out a fusion and "grafting", to launch an art exhibition of ordinary people with extensibility and social value in the nature of commerce.
