The light blue is the accent and at the same time highlight color of the design. Both colors harmonies around the products, they complement each other like buddies. The new brand name is the core of the new identity: Buddy expresses the new attitude just by reading it. In the design and wording, buddy comes to life: clear, striking colors and straight typography.

First the challenge was to find a brand name with personality and second it was the challenge to bring the name to life.
The project was launched in June 2021 in Warendorf/Germany. Market: Germany with focus on NRW. 4000 Broschures were sent to potential customers in March 2022.
The task was the lift from a company to a personality. A completely new design, not just pretty, but distinctive. The goal is long-term attention and placement of the new brand in the minds of (new) customers. The target audience: purchaser and employees. The special feature: the high-quality, sustainable and regional production. The desire for this is increasing, the company wants to be present in the market.
To bring life to the brand, the name buddy was built. This unique name is the core of the hole identity and brand. It is the former name bud-Bruns-Debray modified into personality. In the market of workwear there are many companys just showing the collections in very similar ways, just fabrics put together. buddy is attitude and responsiblity. buddy is really sustainable and offers benefits to the consumers like Made in Europe, regionality an best quality.
Since 1925 bud-Bruns-Debray is a manufacture for workwear. With passion. The company takes a big step in 2021: the new collection is made of sustainable materials. A new way of thinking, with responsibility. Pilotfisch created the new brand identity and name: bud-Bruns-Debray becomes buddy, the buddy in workwear. Responsibility towards consumers and the environment. Pilotfisch reimagined the brand identity, rebuilt the digital presence and developed a look that reflects the buddy spirit.
