Design Challenge
The Chinese Lion is the visual center of the design direction. How to combine the classic Chinese lion image with modern trend elements. Applying it to convey a sense of speed and power must not only conform to the positioning of lion dance in traditional Chinese culture, but also satisfy the aesthetic appeal of passionate control of contemporary cars.
Project Duration
The project started in September 2021 in Beijing and was completed in November 2021 in Beijing
Research
The Fengxing T5 EVO national style version takes "Chinese new trend" as its theme and interprets the national trend from three directions: new national style, art and fashion, and young and cool. The new national style supplements the dynamic image of the galloping Chinese lion with traditional image elements such as mountains, clouds, plants, etc. It is young and cool, and uses street graffiti, mechanical punk and Chinese red as the combination point. Using traditional Chinese patterns as the base, it combines Chinese red, three-dimensional geometry, pop and abstract art.
Inspiration
The design of the Chinese Lion car sticker draws inspiration from the cool fashion favored by contemporary young people. It is a combination of classic Chinese style and modern technology.
Project Overview
Chinese Lion Car Sticker has been a Golden winner in the Advertising, Marketing and Communication Design award category in the year 2023 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Gold A' Design Award is granted to designs that demonstrate a high level of innovation and a significant impact on their intended audience. Recognized as a major achievement by the A' Design Awards, these designs are characterized by their visionary approach and the exceptional skill of their creators.
