These loess bricks have a history of 70 years and are also the main building materials preserved in this case. Carefully keep the loess bricks cut from the hole, and designed the bar counter facade, also that countertop use solid wood to increase the warmth of the space. The designer hope to preserve the traces of times from the exterior to the interior.

Design Challenge
Because the structure of the building was old and weak, the structure was reinforced with H-beams when a hole was dug in the wall between the two warehouses.
Project Duration
The project started in May 2018 and finished in August 2019 in Nantou County,TW.
Operation Flow
The plants on the solid wood handle is designed to represent whether the store is open or not.
Research
Based on traditional building materials, it is integrated into the local tea culture.
Inspiration
According to the current situation of this case, pure and simple elements such as rusted iron, solid wood and concrete floors are used to emphasize the traces of time while preserving the existing parts of building.
