Unique Properties
Most cat food packaging features real photos of cats in order to attract buyers' attention. But Animate uses strong and vivid contrasting colors and illustrations to differentiate the formulas and even the suitable cats range. Making it easier for buyers to quickly identify their needs.

Production Technology
The packaging is made of a non-transparent aluminum bag, which can maintain the kibbles' freshness after opening. We also designed parts of the package with transparency, allowing the inner vibrant color to shine through with the metallic aluminum foil bag.
Design Challenge
Due to the color different principles performed between screens and print out, we took time on selecting the colors.
Project Duration
This project was started in Jul 2022, and it was shown in public in Dec 2022 in Taiwan.
Operation Flow
People who have pets now are getting younger and younger, and living with pets has become a part of society. With the modern and unique design of this package, we aim to show that generation and quality can be on the same path. Giving pet owners an exceptional choice.
Research
Blue Bay is committed to designing a healthy diet for pets. In order to differentiate each formula, we search for the common postures and preferences of cats and discuss and identify which color is most suitable for each formula.
Inspiration
Cats are the world's most curious animals, they love to explore things. That's why we came up with vibrant macaron colors, just like a joyful playground exclusively for cats. Here, they can enjoy their life with natural ingredients.
