By adopting a different approach from conventional literature collections, the "Nua Calendars" has been transformed into a pocket-sized edition. It utilizes off-white artistic paper and adopts the format of an old-fashioned calendar, presenting a unique texture reminiscent of that era. The intention is to accompany readers in their journey through past artistic eras. The book incorporates black and white historical photographs, yellowed documentary materials, and vibrant artistic works. This not only provides readers with a sense of historical immersion but also enriches their exposure to art.

This book is different from conventional literature collections as it incorporates the functionality of a calendar rather than simply showcasing documentary images. Its layout design not only takes inspiration from the style of old-fashioned calendars but also carefully aligns the historical significance of the images with the current date on the calendar. This allows readers, while flipping through the calendar, to gain insights into what significant events or completed works occurred on that specific day in history. By using the images as a visual reference, readers can deepen their understanding of the school's history.
The addition of the calendar functionality and the use of special printing techniques make this book appear more than just ordinary. It transforms the conventional characteristics of a literature collection, typically deemed as stiff and dull, into a book that can be used in everyday life. This greatly expands its range of applications and the likelihood of being utilized by readers.
The project started in april 2021 and finished in august 2021 in nanjing.
