Design Challenge

This is an old apartment located right to Xinzhuang Sports Park, more than thirty years old, within 62 square meters. This site is in the apartment surrounded mostly windows closed and with stainless steel windows, and a wall of the outside is a large Taipei Metropolitan area valuable green forests.

Operation Flow

Window open, Open for the vast lush trees tops. Window open, Open for The summer breeze. Window open, watching the clouds slowly passing by. Window open, Connecting with outdoor to indoor. It’s luxury to feel the natural surrounded.

Research

Emphasize nature and Essential. Leaving only the necessary objects. There is no extra finished. Leaving only demanded.

Inspiration

Standing by the window just to feel the call of nature, can sees the trees eagers to grow and reach out for sun, natural want to embrace with people. When we live in this natural space, when the windows open, the natural wind flow in through the spaces: living area to the study-work area, Bathroom to bedroom, bring the touch of natural, sounds of nature, and everything just naturally happens.
