Tea Packaging Design for Shenzhen Qianhai Phecda Creative Design Co., Ltd.
The climate and geographical environment of Huanghongying Tea Garden are irreproducible. This is its unique advantage. When designing, designers always grasp the ecological concept and emphasize the uniqueness of the ecological environment. Good tea comes from high mountains, because the mountains are cloudy and foggy, the temperature difference between day and night is large, and the humidity is large. This environment is conducive to improving the sound of tea leaves, with a good taste and freshness.

This packaging is the epitome of its planting environment.showing its core selling points from different angles by means of illustrations in its unique geographical environment, such as the diversified climate of tea mountain, the environmental management of tea tree growth, etc. The richness of the local natural ecology and the harmonious coexistence of man and natureso that consumers can intuitively perceive the quality support behind the product and the product's own maximum value.

The material of this package is made of carton structure, which is easy to recycle and light in weight, easy to carry and transport. The tea is divided into small bags and has a separate structure for convenient drinking.
The most difficult thing in the design is how to convey the diverse geographical environment and unique planting methods of tea plantations to consumers. Tea farmers have limited funds and can not carry out advertising and propaganda. This requires designers to convey as much information as possible when creating packaging without increasing customer costs. Ultimately, the designer decided to hand-draw the surface of the package in the form of illustrations, while listing some useful data one by one. On the premise of beauty and protection, the packaging was made into a propaganda picture.
The project was launched in Guizhou in March 2017, completed in Shenzhen in May 2018, and received the If Packaging Design Award in Germany in January 2019.
Tea is divided into separate small bags, which are convenient to take when drinking and will not pollute other tea. The outer packaging structure of tea is made of environmentally friendly paper.
In remote mountainous areas of Guizhou, tea farmers need to take their tea to the market for sale, but they can not find the core selling point to participate in the market competition. After receiving the project, the designer went deep into the local investigation and interviewed tea farmers and tea merchants. It was found that there was no trace of modern industry when tea growers cultivated tea. They did not use pesticides or fertilizers. All of them were organic and environmentally friendly, minimizing environmental pollution. This model is not common in modern tea gardens. He reminds us to live in harmony with nature.
In the creation of this work, the designer went to the tea garden to inspect and found that the local tea farmers, in the awe of nature and ecological protection, used biological control methods to invest in a large number of beneficial insects such as swallows and seven-spotted ladybugs to control pests and diseases and protect tea leaves from pesticide contamination. This design is designed to show the richness of the local natural ecology and the harmonious coexistence of man and nature.
