Residencial House for MR Studio
The concept for this project was inspired by the lifestyle of the clients. Combining the finest raw materials, such as marble, natural stone, wood, and more, with an innovative approach to achieve distinctive aesthetic without compromising functionality. The foremost goal was to embrace the amplitude of the space and maximize the natural light to create a soft flow transition between social areas and private. The social and private spaces were demarcated by contrasting the floor finishes between marble and wood and the white paint in the walls and ceiling to strengthen that sensations.

The whole concept was inspired by the lifestyle of the clients. Combining the finest raw materials, such as marble, natural stone, wood, leather, metal and more, with an innovative approach to achieve distinctive aesthetic without compromising functionality. Working closely with the client, each finishes and furniture was very carefully picked up one by one. Other crucial element is the artificial lighting it was strategically located to lure the eye and to capture attention.
residential house, luxury, marble, leather, portuguese design, finest materials, contemporary design, timeless,
The atmosphere was extremely important, looking for materials that radiate warmth, confidence and unity but also contemporaneity and sophistication. With the combination of a timeless material palette and strong, pure lines to aim for a look of “atemporal luxury".
The project started in December 2018 and to be finished in July 2020. The project is located in Sintra in Portugal.
Appealing to the senses, we invite you to feel, to touch, to contemplate the beauty of the natural materials. An invitation to stay in and relax, to have fun and enjoy a conversation with friends. Distinguished by being inclusive yet precise, the project is an effort to tying together spatial and aesthetic features through continuity in surface and materials.
